SGP's The Essential Architecture of Loss and Grief promotes the idea that to recover from loss, one must practice, and communicate to self and others, thereby transforming our moral force, to moral power. Where the rational choices of the subjective individual take priority over the prerogatives of Gods, Kings, and Empires. This requires an ongoing discursive process of dialogue within and outside the multiple platforms of the Seville Group Programs (SGP), for self-discovery and construction.
ABOUT US
SGP or Seville Group Program is an integrated and collaborative program focusing primarily on Loss & Grief and Anger Management in a variety of settings. It is a multi-disciplinary collaboration addressing the developmental and ontological needs of persons living and working in our communities, including individuals with dependent children and adults in the communities we serve. SGP was known simply as Centerbest when initially incorporated in 2006.
There are now five essential and categorical components to the SGP. They include the following: 1. Centerbest, 2. The Essential Architecture, Loss & Grief, 3. Anger Management in 3D, 4. Research and Development and 5. Muriel’s Place.
Over the years the initial Centerbest program had had a number of principles, participants focusing on four areas:
-
Medication and behavioral management of psychiatric and forensic problems in the population served;
-
Nursing supportive care including a pharmacy patient support care unit
-
Consultation and liaison services for second opinions regarding mental health problems and other forensic concerns as they present;
-
Instructional and teaching educational units of services, including supporting a chapter of CHADD. A walk-in crisis medication clinic and Anger Management utilizing the George Anderson protocols
SGP going forward will focus primarily on Loss and Grief, Anger Management, Training & Educational Services, Research & Development, and Publishing.
